NJ USAG COMPETITION FORMAT

COMPETITION FORMAT

CLASS 7: As in the past we will only be competing on Four events: Floor, Vault, Parallel Bars, High Bar. All gymnasts will receive a ribbon on each event including the All-Around Award. Please be aware, Invitationals that include Class 7', compete on all 6 events.

Class 6: The 7-9 age group will again be broken up into Three separateage groups 7, 8, 9,. The awards for 6's will be as follows, Top 10 on each event and All -Around. The 10-11, 12-13 age groups will stay the same.

Meet fee: Will stay at $27.00 per gymnast. MAKE CHECK OUT TO N.J.U.S.A.G.

USA Men's gymnastics has imposed a $1.00 per gymnast head tax for each local. This is will be paid by NJ men's gymnastic from the meet fees. Scratches: No refund / credits will be given. You should bring a check to the competition for the number of gymnasts competing that weekend.

Door Fee: $4.00 per adult $2.00 for children under 12 yr., infants free.

Host Club: The ownership of the club which hosts the competition will receive $1.00 per gymnast.

State Qualifiers:

Class 4 Gymnasts MUST attend 2 of 3 Local Qualifiers

Class 5 Gymnasts MUST attend 3 of 4 Local Qualifiers

Class 6 Gymnasts MUST attend 3 of 5 Local Qualifiers

Class 7 Gymnasts MUST attend 3 of 5 Local Qualifiers

Competition Registration: The host club will send out an entrypacket One month prior to the competition. All entries must be in Two weeks before the meet. Make checks out to N.J.U.S.A.G. NOT THE HOST CLUB.

Class/Age groups:
Class 1: 16-18
Class 2: 14-15
Class 3: 12-13 - 14+
Class 4: 10-11, 12+
Class 5: 8-9, 10-11, 12+
Class 6: 7, 8, 9 10-11, 12+
Class 7: 6 years and up.

Age is determined as of September 1, 2003
